HOW TO KEEP THE LOVE ALIVE!

Here are some tricks to keep the love alive in your relationship:

First and foremost, be with your partner through good and bad times, not just physically but emotionally.

Comfort and listen to your partner in times of distress. Immediately extend a hand if you think you can help solve, or even ease, the problem. Be with your partner as often as possible. Say that you’re just beside him or her.

In good times, openly praise or congratulate your partner for each success or accomplishment, no matter how small you find it to be.  Help all the way in pursuit of his or her ambitions.

Only an INSANE person would dump a constant companion, especially one who not only stood by in dark times but helped him or her be a better and successful person.

Through all these, NEVER FORGET to RESPECT your partner, both as a person and as a lover.

For women, don’t even dream of making a henpecked (ANDER DE SAYA) lover or husband out of your man.  It’s the BIGGEST, and I mean every letter of it, turn-off you can give to a guy.

For men, keep in mind that she’s your partner and your lover, not your housemaid or secretary or any other employee.

For both men and women, ALWAYS treat your lover as a person, and not as a robot or pet dog who will move only at your pleasure.

Be pretty or handsome, and neat and smell good from morning till bedtime. You don’t need to go the parlor, or to your dermatologist and hairdresser (including guys) everyday.

Even daily make-up is not necessary. Being clean with well-combed hair is enough.

DON’T BE AFRAID to think of something new for him or for her, or for both of you. From new places to go to like bars or diners, new activities to try out like dancing or a different sport or new recipes for him or for her.

MONOTONY or BOREDOM is one of the FASTEST killers of a relationship.

And most of all, follow ALL THE Dos and DON’Ts you had agreed upon when you started out as lovers TO THE LETTER. Keep in mind that Love is a TWO-WAY STREET, not just one. 30
