HOW TO TURN DOWN A WOMAN!

Our friend, Ritchie Tien, asked if I could write something on how to turn down a woman. Here it is:

If the woman has propositioned you, or has asked you point-blank for a date or even sex, directly turn her down POLITELY. Whatever reason you have, or can think of, tell it to her straight,  CALMLY and in the most CARING way you can.

One of the best reasons you can give is you don’t feel anything for her and it would be a sin, and totally unfair for her, if you take advantage of or treat her as a toy, especially a sex toy.

In a reassuring tone, tell her you’ll always be a special friend ready to help in any way you could, if she needs it.

Inspire her with the thought that there are a thousand and one guys who are a lot better than you in many ways and surely, she’ll meet one of them very soon.

If she persists, declare that you would be distancing yourself from her from now on to make it easier for her to accept the situation.

Just be sure you’ll do it. DON’T join her for anything –from walking to the bus or public transport terminal to   snacks or dinners -- anymore after you reject her proposal.

And if you have a girlfriend, introduce your sweetheart to her, in person. There are cases wherein rejected women refused to accept the guy’s claim that he is already taken, until she saw the girl herself.

If the girl has not made a proposition, and is just starting to tease you, IGNORE IT, TOTALLY.

Turn deaf and blind to her advances. 

Start avoiding her, too. As I had advised in an earlier blog, don’t take her calls or reply to her text messages, unless it’s work=-related or an emergency.

Once she asks, or rather confronts you, here are two good reasons you can cite -- your girlfriend is super possessive to the max or your  mind is pre-occupied with very serious problems at work or in the family that you don’t have time even for yourself.

BE CONSISTENT. Women usually need more time than men to learn to accept rejection by the object of her affection.

Bottom line: Whatever approach you choose, NEVER INSULT OR HUMILIATE the woman.  You have NO RIGHT, and open display of a one-way emotion is NEVER A GROUND to put a girl to shame. 30
